EVO SIGNATURE

 The EVO2 signature edition is a celebration of over 75 years of manufacturing excellence. The finest materials and finishes have transformed one of our best-selling models into a stunning centrepiece for any treasured hi-fi or home cinema system.

To celebrate this latest generation of evolution models, a very special finish has been created. A deep figured real walnut wood veneer is used. Each pair use book-matched pairs from consecutive slices of veneer. This is then finished with a soft touch semi-matt lacquer, cured over 48 hours for a durable and lustrous finish. Engineered to the very highest standards, the EVO2 signature will deliver a consistently high standard or reproduction for many years.

 Wharfedale has always been at the leading edge of development in acoustic science. New technologies and materials create new opportunities to push the boundaries of music reproduction. Whilst the loudspeaker is often regarded as the weakest link in any system, we develop loudspeakers systems capable of extracting the best from any hi-fi, loudspeakers that will continue to improve as you upgrade the rest of your system.

The new range includes the most recent EVO2-50 model, which features a 2” soft-dome mid-range driver – derived from our flagship Airedale Heritage speakers. This driver covers the entire vocal range with the most natural performance in its class.

All models use a carefully balanced KEVLAR bass driver. High-specification voice coils provide tighter control with superlative bass extension and control. All drivers in each model now have a remarkably smooth phase response. This is further aided with the high quality crossover components and design as well as high specification OFC cable running to each driver.
